SUDAN
The ongoing civil war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has trapped Sudan in the world’s largest and most severe displacement crisis. Civilians are being indiscriminately tortured and killed, while women and children face a relentless nightmare of gender-based violence, abuse, and exploitation.
Since the civil war escalated in 2023, over 12 million people have been forced from their homes. Nearly 26 million people—more than half of Sudan’s population—are in desperate need of aid, caught in a cycle of war, hunger, and disease with no clear end in sight.

Uganda
In Uganda’s isolated Kiryandongo refugee camp, newly arriving Sudanese children face overcrowded schools and limited supplies. Alongside our local partner, Giving Refugees Hope International, we distributed shoes and school supplies to 600 children, helping them continue their education.
We also returned to Kiryandongo with a goat distribution for 100 families to restore livelihoods and create income opportunities.
Egypt
In partnership with Tafawol, we empowered 40 Sudanese refugees—particularly women—with the business training, resources, and microgrants to start their own small businesses and fuel their new journeys in Cairo.
